Sales & Onboarding

We perfect every detail before your first guest! Our onboarding process ensures your property is fully functional and guest-ready from day one. We conduct a thorough inventory check, recommend essential purchases, and suggest design improvements to maximize your home’s potential.

Why is onboarding crucial?

Even small oversights can significantly impact a guest’s experience—whether it’s insufficient utensils, a missing wine opener, disconnected TVs, lost remotes, or a lack of backup entry options.

Our comprehensive onboarding process ensures a seamless stay for both owners and guests. A common issue we encounter is homes that sleep ten but lack the essentials to accommodate that many guests—for example, only nine forks or five water cups, making it difficult to host a full group comfortably.

By addressing these details upfront, we help create a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Onboarding Timeline: Takes approximately one week from the first day of access, but will vary depending on scope.
An example of the attention to detail in our onboarding process

We understand that many homes are purchased furnished, so we assess the existing cookware and only upgrade or add items as needed. However, in the example above, we fully outfitted the kitchen from scratch with brand-new items.

Design Improvement During Onboarding Examples

Depending on the project's scope, a designer may be needed to enhance the home's aesthetics, ensuring strong guest appeal and a high-quality experience. In some cases, minor improvements can significantly boost a room’s cohesiveness and visual appeal with just a few thoughtful changes.

For example, this home already featured a highly themed boys' room, but the owners wanted to make this room more inviting for girls. To achieve this, we simply added pink floral pillows, matching pink throw blankets, and carefully staged towels—small touches that made a big impact on a cost efficient budget and create a more complete look. We can work with any budget and intention.

In this example, we refreshed the space by removing outdated décor (a lamp and wall art) and updating the bed linens and wall art with a simple, modern touch. While the changes were minimal, they significantly enhanced the room’s overall appeal.

This transformation was completed through a designer add-on service for partial upgrading by room, which is also available.

Example Scenarios

image (12).png

Scenario 1

It’s summertime in Florida, and after business hours, your AC has frozen over. The immediate repair cost is $800. While we could wait until the next day to shop for a slightly more affordable repair, this could risk losing a reservation worth $1,500 who reasonably claims it is too hot to stay the night. In this case, we would contact you via email to explain the situation, the rationale behind our decision, and move forward with the repair without delay to preserve the reservation and keep the property operational.

Scenario 2

The vertical blinds over the sliding doors have broken for the second time. These blinds are prone to damage, frustrating to use, and costly repairs over time. Instead of continuing to fix them, we would contact you to suggest replacing the vertical slat blinds with a curtain rod and four curtain panels. This change would not only enhance the overall aesthetic of the property but also eliminate the need for unnecessary repairs, providing a more modern and user-friendly solution.
